Lucca

Lucca is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval cities in Tuscany. Its imposing walls, a unique example in Italy of perfectly intact city walls, can be walked or cycled. On their summit runs a beautiful tree-lined avenue, from which it is possible to admire the city from an unusual point of view. Continue descending into the heart of the historic center, with its streets full of craft & pastry shops. The most famous square is undoubtedly Piazza Anfiteatro, built on the remains of an ancient Roman amphitheater, the right place for a little relaxation thanks to its many cafes.
